Mido Zelenjakovic, Fitness Director - Founding partner at the Rochester School of Fitness, developed and delivers all RSF’s fitness programs. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education from the State University College at Brockport in 2003. Prior to his work at RSF, he spent 6 years as a personal fitness trainer at Oak Hill Country Club in Pittsford, New York honing his personal training skills.
 
Personally and Professionally, Mido lives and breaths fitness everyday. As a former professional European volleyball player, he has the drive and determination of an athlete that he applies to all his students to ensure their success. Having held coaching positions in both, Europe and the U.S., Mido knows what it takes to inspire and motivate his students. He served as assistant coach for the University of Rochester women's volleyball team from 1997-1998 and several coaching positions in Germany.
 
Personally, Mido is still competing and in the 2007 Empire State Games, he was a Silver Medalist in Volleyball. Mido and his wife Medina have 2 children of their own and several years of athletic training under his belt, Mido is experienced working with all individuals from children to adult. In fact, you will frequently see his son and often his niece at the school working side by side with him. Rest assured that Mido will deliver the best fitness training in a fun, inspiring and safe manner for you and your children.
Cathy Hahn, MD - Founding partner and physician at the Rochester School of Fitness 2006. Currently, Dr Hahn has been a part of Pittsford Pediatric Associates, LLP since 1993 after completing the Pediatrics residency program at Golisano Children’s at Strong Memorial Hospital. She received her medical degree in 1990 from Albany Medical College. She has a Master's degree from SUNY Buffalo, 1986 and completed her undergraduate work at Cornell University, 1984. She is board certified in Pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is a member of the local Monroe County Medical Society and the Rochester Pediatric Society. As a native of Brooklyn, New York and she found her home in Rochester with her husband Robert Buhite II and their son Robbie.
Rahul Sengupta, MD - Founding partner and physician at the Rochester School of Fitness 2006. A Rochester native, graduated from Pittsford Sutherland High School in 1985. He went on to attain his bachelor’s degree in 1989 from Kenyon College in Ohio. He attended medical school at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, graduating in 1995. He then returned to Rochester to do his Pediatric Residency training at Golisano Children’s at Strong Memorial Hospital. Completing his training in 1998, he continued on for one year as a Chief Resident of Pediatrics. He has been a part of Pittsford Pediatrics since 1999 and most recently a founding partner and physician at the Rochester School of Fitness since 2006. Dr. Sengupta is married, has 2 daughters and a son and resides in Fairport, NY.

The RSF is a Health and Fitness organization for Rochester’s youth and their families.  Our goal is to complete the full circle of healthy living, including cardiovascular exercise, strength training, and healthy eating to help conquer childhood obesity.
 
We also strive to provide Rochester’s youth with a program to develop physical fitness and healthy eating habits to achieve overall wellness and positive self image.  With the focus being on the family unit; parents are expected to participate with their children in a cooperative effort to achieve maximum success.
 
Here at the RSF, our goal is to foster a complete understanding of healthy lifestyle choices is a family context.  Ultimately we want to have more healthy, happy families.  We strive to offer real life instruction in both exercise and diet.
Over the course of several years, Cathy Hahn, MD And Rahul Sengupta, MD saw startling instances of overweight children coming to their office and no practical solution to prescribe. Together with fitness and dietary experts, they designed a comprehensive intervention programs for overweight children encompassing a holistic approach focused on exercise, diet and nutrition.  The Rochester School of Fitness was born.
